By connecting incubators, microscopes, and other lab equipment to intelligent networks, embryologists could monitor conditions remotely, receive alerts about problems, and ensure consistent care for eggs and embryos 24/7. The technology could also help standardize procedures across different clinics and reduce human error. While challenges like cybersecurity and reliability need addressing, IoT promises to make IVF treatment more efficient and potentially improve success rates by ensuring optimal conditions are maintained throughout the process.
