Bill Garbarini

Chief Operating Officer

Bill’s diversified background within the life sciences, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries includes significant successes across multiple functional areas, from business development and M&A to operations and product development. In 2018, prior to joining Conceivable, Bill was recruited by the founders of TMRW Life Sciences to start a new business to radically change the way frozen specimens are stored within the IVF clinic. He helped architect the world’s first automated, robotic storage platform for vitrified embryos and oocytes, using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to ensure that the appropriate specimens are transferred. At TMRW Bill played a pivotal role in the company’s fundraising efforts, which eventually resulted in over $100M in investment.

In a prior role, Bill was recruited by the partners of Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey to build and grow a national practice management network as the Chief Development Officer. He was subsequently appointed to a COO role as the company’s Executive Director, their first non-physician ED in the past 10 years. Under Bill’s watch, RMA effected a landmark merger with the Spanish company Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad (IVI), thereby creating the world’s largest Assisted Reproduction clinic framework. This combined entity was recently purchased by PE buyout firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts for $2.7 billion.

Before IVI-RMA, Bill enjoyed a 14-year career with Ferring Pharmaceuticals. As the VP of Business Strategy and New Products, he designed the 5-year strategic business plan for the U.S. market and drove over $100M in near-term revenues through three critical product acquisitions. As the VP of a Specialty Products Business Unit, he spearheaded 58% growth on $100M+ in annual revenues.

Prior to joining Ferring, Bill worked at Merck & Company as a Product Manager, where he led a full-scale turnaround of the company’s PROVENTIL HFA product lending to its first-ever profitability.
